how can i make a window behave like a messagebox that blocks the user to touch its parent or main window until you press ok?

heh just make it a child of the parent window i.e pass the hwnd of parent window in its parent window param. for example for a dialog box

HINSTANCE hInstance, // handle to application instance
LPCTSTR lpTemplateName, // identifies dialog box template
HWND hWndParent, // handle to owner window >> pass the parent window hwnd here
DLGPROC lpDialogFunc, // pointer to dialog box procedure

i am sure its the same for CreateWindowEx as well.
