Well Im here to ask others who are more familiar with games that are complex memory wise, Ive done all the tutorials up to step 8.

The first thing I am trying to work on is the money (Palladium) in Hellgate London unfortunately trying to compare what I am supposed to do from the tutorials I get a little confused and lost and I truly think its this game not easy for new people imo sorta like me lol. Hope I get some help I really need to be guided with a game like this and im dying to make a trainer in spite of cheathappens!

What I have so far is...

Ok I am 100% sure that is the adress of the palladium. I have compared the little window with 0056A646 multiple times and I always ended up with that 1, so if I replace it with a code that does nothing it sometimes freeze or sometimes crashes.

What I am really looking for is the code that actually changes the value so I can make it a code injection that every time you spend something it increases by a number you choose to put in the template but thats going too far ahead. Atm what do I do next from this picture? find the pointer of the value in my address list by going to 0FC7FF00?

***Btw if their is any other way someone wants to talk to me vent/messengers pm I have a vent and yahoo...or this thread works =D

Do a hex scan for FC7FF00
Remember how to find a pointer from the tutorial.

Or you can mess with the assembly:
mov [ecx+eax+04],edx

[ecx+eax+04] = address for money

edx = value moved into the address


So one way would be to change edx before it gets to this instruction.
Simple Examples:
add edx,270F <---- Adds 9999 to the money already there.
mul edx,2 <---- Multiply the money already there by 2.
mov edx,98967F <---- Move a value to the money address. "9999999"

Ok thats what I thought but I had to restart the program this is where I am in the pic now...my guess is I am supposed to manually add 3E12A3A8 with an offset of 4? - Or am I off?

Awsome your example worked, I did this in the code injection window...

alloc(newmem,2048) //2kb should be enough
label(returnhere)
label(originalcode)
label(exit)

0056A646:
jmp newmem

newmem: //this is allocated memory, you have read,write,execute access
ADD edx,2710


originalcode:
mov [ecx+eax+04],edx
ret

exit:
jmp returnhere


-Went back in game and the value of the money went up by 10k every time I spent money...but also when I executed this code completely changed and found the same 1 written from another new address did I do something wrong?(seems kinda buggy when you buy stackable items it kinda screws them up) and a question 2 I got this far with the code injection what do I need to read to turn it in to a on/off button for the trainer?

*Well I take the code that I have changed add it to a trainer select the games process, launch the game from the correct .exe get in game hit the hotkey and trainer give off a "Incorrect process" -_- messing around with it now...

Use [ENABLE] [DISABLE] in the script to turn it on and off, and this will work for a trainer as well.

Man this is killing me, really sorry Labyrnth im still kinda new and learning this and I think something happen that it shouldnt have I took some pics after I did the code injection...

I took the code I originally found in the write window and added it into a trainer and it seems to not work =\ I must have done something wrong? or it wont work cause after the code injection the address I changed had completely changed after I changed it if you understand what I am saying? =\ gonna /wrist myself here for not knowing more thats why Im looking for help hope you understand.

*I mean this game is like a futuristic Diablo 2 random item drops, I notice you have to stand still to find the addresses of the money/skill points/attributes just about anything or when you move 1 step the whole entire game just shifts in a way, I have successfully been able to change random items that dropped their stats edit them etc through finding them with their memory addresses, I just dunno why its so tough to make a trainer for things like palladium/skillpoints etc...Should I drop the palladium for now and try another thing? Like freeze health and power and maybe try the attributes? Could be they are easier...Ill prolly try them just gotta run out for now and will be back to see if you have anything to say.

-=So I thought I would forget the palladium(money) for now and move on to something smaller...attribute points...well I found the address and I found what writes to it...0056A646 - mov[ecx+eax+04],edx the exact same address I found with palladium.......help? lol Btw I tried doing the pointer method...well...by the time I get to the second pointer and go change something in game it is SO LAGGY/BUGGY takes 5 mins for anything to change if your lucky...

Ive been told I should give up cause the game uses a rare and special scripted engine that everything im looking to train goes through the same addresses...but I would like to find a way to train this game does anyone have any suggestions I should do or go read up on something as complex as this game?
