it depends really
macs you can't upgrade much, but they are kick ass as is
we have some at my school in the video department and they do a kick ass job of audio and video editing.
for games, i would say a windows, most games are not built for windows, even tho the Macs at school have MacOS AND Vista.
so yeah
thats my 2 cents
