well im a junior in high school and my school is very poor and has almost no business courses. Well i want to go to college for something around or in the fields of Computer Science, Networking, Computer Tech, or Computer Engineering. so i was just going to try to get a head start since like everyone else does in high school so i am planning on teaching my self.
so basically what i am asking besides ASM what kinda of programming or things should i attempt to teach my self to help for college?
sorry if kinda off topic.

Learn VB6, then try Delphi.

DO NOT LEARN VB6... Seriously, learning 1 programming language is hard enough. Most places wants C++. VB6 is not like C++, so learning VB6 first will only confuse you. Although it is the simplest language, its immature.
NO JOB WANTS A VB6 PROGRAMMER. They want C++ and stuff...
My suggest as a job, go into Networking. I know someone who is a Network Admin for a huge corp. and he makes about 100k~200k a year... I dont remember but i know its in the 6 digits...
