Is it possible to send an image through Winsock?

Or do I have to make the image into a .txt file, send the contents of that file to the user then re-make it into a .jpg file?

I'm trying to make something like remote assisstance... because on my pc it lags.

Read the image file into a buffer then send the buffer.
