Getting rid of NAFTA is a bad thing. If it's taken our and scrapped, Canada will be selling oil to other countries. Thus, the price of gas will increase.

Reason why: Canada gives us about 95% of our oil.

The end product of Gas/Diesel is so high because crude oil price has increased, costing refineries more to produce the final product.
If they have to pay more for the crude, then Gas & Diesel will be higher.

Now as to what is making the damn crude price go up, who the hell knows.
If someone sneezes, the price goes up. Oh we got a storm in the gulf! Price goes up.

Also to add to this, for the people who dont know. Refineries & Employees cannot use the gasoline and diesel they make to fuel the vehicles in the refinery or personal ones.
It is against the law for them to do it, because they are taxed as well for the fuel. Kinda odd since they are making it with purchased oils and then cant use it personally. Confused

use electric cars? Or Hybrids? Well i hate gas prices to high gas prices i dont like president bush becuz hes not doing anything about.... it takes me about $80 just becuz my car is a sports car. I heard that gas company took away electric cars just so they can eran money.

We COULD move onto other resources such as nuclear and electric but the people in office have alot invested in oil so they refuse to change.

Err, $122 (US) for a barrel of oil as of today.

And just like the person who started this thread, couldn't wait to drive..
And once I can, gas is effing like $3.50 a gallon.

And not to mention, my car gets like 17~21 miles to the gallon. Confused
