With CreateWindowEx(), you have to have the class name. Is there a list somewhere (most likely msdn I'm guessing) of all the classnames, like BUTTON, EDIT, LISTBOX, STATIC and stuff like that?

Of course. MSDN has everything.
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms633574(VS.85).aspx
Button The class for a button.
ComboBox The class for a combo box.
Edit The class for an edit control.
ListBox The class for a list box.
MDIClient The class for an MDI client window.
ScrollBar The class for a scroll bar.
Static The class for a static control.

There must be more than that though. I mean you look at delphi and stuff like that, they have all those controls like flash players and web browsers and stuff like that.

Flash (and I think web) require COM, it's not directly available. Probably the same for anything else, no direct support.

C++ != Delphi
They are not something to be compared.
Other controls that are not part of the standard class list are user defined objects that you create yourself. There are a lot more classes with MFC as well since they are premade for you, which would be like Delphi's objects.
