Ok so i been looking at some private servers for some different games...
...they're pretty cool, but can i make my own one?

a habbo one?
runescape one?

You need to have a client, and then you need to code your own server.

I'm guessing he meant money as in..buy your own work.

Anyway, take a look in the private section for Maple. Look at that source and you'll have an idea of what's needed.

For beginners, start with Tibia private servers.

u basically spend shit loads of hours tracking packets and recoding the server code, then u spend shit loads of money on buying servers (else ur server will be uber laggy even with 100 ppl and crash every 5 min)
then u just take the client and i guess hex edit the target that it connects to.
