I decided to buy a new computer, and also to build it myself. But i don't want to forget anything(yes this might seems pretty stupid, I know) so if someone could make a list of everything(from the mainboard to the little silver liquid you put on the cpu before installing it) I'll need I would really appreciate it.

Motherboard
CPU
GPU
PSU
Fans (Case, CPU, and maybe GPU)
RAM
HDD
Disc Drive
Case
Speakers
Monitor
Keyboard
Mouse
Sound Card
Cables
There are a few things (like the speakers) that you don't need, but could want.

All retail boxed HDDs have the cables, but if it is an OEM, you have to buy the cables. If I remember correctly, they only cost $2.

For the tower:
Motherboard
PSU
Case (Antec 900 highly recommended; no extra fans required)
CPU
GPU
RAM
Disk drive
Possibly a CPU fan, but for all modern Intel chips, stock fans and the heatsink is included.
Sound cards are usually not needed. Most good, modern motherboards include built-in 6.1 surround sound.
Everything else:
Monitor
Speakers
Mouse
Keyboard
Operating system

Yep they do. Cables aren't usually a big deal. But I would usually get a couple of everything just for emergencies

Also, if you buy from newegg, they will distinctively tell you everything that comes with it.
