As you will be able to tell i'm not at all the "computer kinda guy" from the question i'm about to ask...
Q: How can I check what kind of graphics card I have in my computer? Is there a way to check without taking the computer apart? I'd like to know so I can decide which games i'd be able to play smoothly, despite my Dial-Up connection lol.
I read the stickers on front of the HP PC, all they tell me is the MB memory, GB hard-drive and 516 Intel Pentium 4 Processor whatever that is..
(And no this noob question isn't an April's Fool joke)...

Download "RivaTuner" and it will say it on the 'Main' tab.

Start>Run>dxdiag
Click on "display"; in the top left box it should tell you. Chances are if you've bought a pre-built computer you have an integrated graphics card.

dxdiag should tell you enough. If you don't want to do that, you can use GPU-Z.
Your connection shouldn't determine the game speed, unless you are playing online.
Considering you have a 516 Pentium 4 (which is "old"), you probably have either (at the most):
An integrated GPU
NVIDIA GeForce 7 series/6 series
ATi Radeon X series

If its not on the pc label it means its hardly a selling point for that PC.
Ie. its not very good most likely. Yeah it'll maybe onboard IGP.

If you want more detailed information of the graphic card, download GPU-Z from www.techpowerup.com.

Chaos lord if you read the last 2 posts you would have seen that GPU-Z has already been suggested.
In the other PC thread you also copied exactly what I said about PCI-E 2.0 and bandwidth expectancies. Annoying man...

Hahahaha, I admit I never saw GPU-Z(but I provided a link to get it), but I did not copied what you said about PCI-E 2.0. The way you're saying it was like more or less exaggerating the matter. Someone who don't understand computers wont know what you're trying to say.

Yes they would, I explained about the bandwidth etc. People ask, I give the most informed and straight answer I can. I don't copy other peoples post and I cut out any uncessary BS.
