i got a free computer from my dads company, and it used to be their server. its running windows 2003 server edition. i have the admin password, but when i type it in, it says its not connected to whatever network. any way to actually get on this computer?

Switch domains. You're trying to connect to the network, and not local. I'd format it and install a different OS.

There are disks all over the internet, e-bay should have some XP's. Some small computer shops might carry XP.
