I can easily do the pointer step in the tutorial, however finding a pointer in a actual game never actually works for me! I did what you do inside the tutorial... yet end up not finding it. also... wtf does [eax + edx] mean?
eax + edx = ???

Someone explain to meh this stuff!

You can use the pointer scan option.

But those 2 added is an address.
[ ] <--- means it is and address. Do the math and you will see.

also, about [eax+edx]
one of them will be a big value and the other a small value (else the game is completly screwed up and has huge memory leaks)

The small value can be used as the offset
