Too many addresses! Help!

How do I cheat?

Hi, i have noticed that whene i scan any program then i get like serveral thousands of addresses, is this normal? It makes it nearly imposible to find an address!

Remove useless addresses from that list using the next scan button

That is why you have to be smart about it, read the below...

Health:

If you have health in a game and yours is at 100. In cheat engine you search for 100.

But then as you said there are way to many addresses so in the game you have to change one, so battle a monster or something to lose some health.

Lets say you get hurt and your health is now 90, you type in 90 in cheat engine and press next scan. There will only be a few addresses now, if there are lots of them still just repeat the process by losing a little bit of health and pressing next scan.

Question: What if it doesn't tell me my health?

Answer: That is fine, you can just make the scan type "unknown initial value". Now just press scan then lose a little health and change the scan type to "decreased value". You should now have found your address.

By the looks of things you haven't tried out the tutorial, to do this just go to Start> All programs> Cheat Engine> tutorial
