You do realize he linked to a Wiki right? A wiki is nothing more then 'user' contribution and opinion. Just because it says what it does, doesn't mean that it can't include a wider spectrum of actual meaning.
Based on opinion here, a flash trainer is nothing much towards programming other then editing variables, but, you still need to use a coding language to make the trainer, compile the code to an executable, etc. Which will rendering it as programming.

i think the hardest part is finding variables making the exe just needs most time  and u re right just wanted to have it said , because the wiki just says iits writing a programm

I call it programming pixels on an empty sheet of computer paper. It is still called programming.

I remember some guy on slashdot mentioned his BSc level definition of "programming" is along the lines of
"A set of instructions which causes the hardware to perform a specific function"
I am nowhere close to saying that's right, but it sounds pretty logical.
