The DBK32.DLL cannot be loaded whenever I try to do anything kernel related it seems.
The error reads exactly like this:
"The driver could not be opened! It's not loaded or not responding. I recommend to reboot your system and try again."
Well, after several reboots this hasn't solved the problem. AVG did see this dll as a virus before, but I disabled it to try and get it working to no avail.
I've read on the forums about the .sys causing problems but not the .dll. However, I'm sorry if this has already been answered.

disabling it wont work,
uninstalling avg does,
then uninstall the cheat engine kernal with the "kernal stuff" in the cheat engine start menu, then uninstall restart and reinstall cheat engine,
then if you want to use avg and cheat engine together you will have to forfit the kernal mode stuff and not load it or use it,
even when you hit the ignore button in avg it doesnt really ignore the ce root kit it stops the kernal mode debugger from working and just does not delete or quarantine it,
so you can still use the default degugger as avg knows what that is and reinstall avg and update it ,,
you could always make another windows partition without avg on it to use the kernal mode debugger just use another antivirus if you need it for maplestory type games or only use that partition offline for cheating games!!!
maybe one day avg will recognise cheat engine kernal mode debugger and not disable it if enough people ask avg to sort itself out !!!!!!!!

AVG doesn't technically have a disable option that I can see, so I simply Quit it. Of course the problem still occurs so I guess its powers stretch beyond the system tray tool.
Thanks for your advice anyway and I appreciate your fast reply.
