I haven't coded in a while, and I'm not THAT advanced. But I'm ok. Just toss out ideas ranging in difficulty if you have any Smile

I can never think of what to program Laughing

I think your hobby is to redo stuff that is easy and no one gives a shit about.
That way you wont get code critizised, plus you'll never get positive replies since they're just replicas of what already exists. Not that they're useful anyway.

EDIT: Oh by the way, nice "Location: GetCurrentLocation();"! THAT MAKES YOU SEEM VERY WITTY & PR0.
Cool

EDIT2: I'd suggest learning the language in a more advanced way, learn algorithms etc.

Not too experienced but I find it enjoyable to think up ideas for things that haven't been done, toss around the possibilities of your idea with a few knowledgeable people and work from there.
Another idea would be to get source code for basic programs that are readily available (say a calculator). build upon the source, apply new features and make it more efficient.

Find something that you can't do yet, and then code it. That way you'll learn, instead of being redundant and coding the same thing over and over again (AKA Rot1).

I agree, messing with the Winsock library and LSP could be fun too.

try making some communication program.

Rot1: Kindly, shut the fuck up. You threaten people wthout acting upon it all the time, more recently myself (whatever happened to getting the 'CEF UG' to fuck me up?) and that kid in the MS section where you stated "dont mess with me, punk ass". You're a damn joke.

Jony/Irwin: Just bought a nifty pocket reference for C which covers C99 Very Happy. Looks well written, covers the following topics:

- C Language Fundamentals
- Data Types
- Expressions and operators
- C Statements
- Declarations
- Functions
- Preprocessor directives
- The standard library.

Gives me something to do while my net is down at home.
Gotta dash now x

You should start client and server communication (I'm working on a simple IRC).

Solving programming problems is fun as well:

Sign up and start solving. Smile
