well i am following this tut on learning C++ and its going good but now he said press compile but the button is a a ghost and i can't click it? what could be wrong(he is using version 6)

im not sure but i think you cannot compile the .cpp file alone in MS-VS. you have to create a project first.

ammm, im not really sure about it coz i don't use microsoft visual products. im using Dev-C++.

darn becuase i probally need to make it a project but it's a file i dunno how to convert...

you goto file > new project, choose which which ever one you're working on, then goto file > new > file > c++ source file
