if you have windows xp then try Start>Control Panel (Classic View)>Mouse>Hardware>Troubleshoot
hopefully if you havent lost me that will help
you could also try cleaning your mouse with a cotton bud or something

It may be a virus called double click or something. Spams mouse clicks, scan your computer.

Well at first i thought it was a virus too but i took the mouse's batteries out and it stoped. So dosnt that means its not the computer but the mouses fault.

No. Taking the batteries out is like unplugging it, it won't work at all then.

If it was the computer's fault the mouse would keep left clicking..
Try putting another mouse into your computer and see if it left clicks, if it does you know it's a virus. If it doesn't you know you need to get a new mouse.

Do you realize, this is contradicting?
A program will spam a mouse click without a mouse plugged in.
In fact it has nothing to do with the real mouse on the machine.

When you press a mouse button, it sends that you pressed the mouse button to the computer. But the virus doesn't need a Physical mouse and can just send "MouseClicks/Keystrokes"

Oh. Never thought of it like that. =X Then again, the double click virus I had to deal with did shit when I/the client clicked. Guess that's something else I'll be looking into.
