i've got a question about video/even audio files:
I wondered when i saw a video in youtube that was 42 hours long!!!!
No, i don't lie. He said he changed the length of the video in hex editor. If you know can you give me a starting or method on how to hexedit multimedia files? Is it simply to search for the length in hex string?

Depends on the video format that is being hexed. Just look up the file header for the format and you should be able to figure out what to hex it to do it.

For example, for AVI files this is the header format:

I'm not sure how the length is calculated for AVI files though. So you will have to tinker about with it some. Or just look up another common format and compare to that.

Here's a link that will show you. I believe it has to be FLV1 though.
