so, this "made from scratch" os is the next generation of the new windows ?
i've read a whole article about this new windows, they're remaking it to make it run faster, they're resizing the kernel and trying to reduce the size of everything.

| Windows Vienna Sausages, Nice. Okay let's reduce the size of everything until we have to use Dos to load our OS again.

Wrong thread.
Also, Windows Vienna seems to be great; but knowing Microsoft, the first few months after release will be rocky.

there's a bug on IE 7, when you load a page and you decide to close the window while it's loading, iexplorer.exe open itself again with loads of pages !!!
you need to kill the process to stop it ;s

No I have a better idea, they should bloat it like crazy with useless shit that brings no real benefit to anyone. Then we'll make up buzzwords to mark the inefficiencies as features. Oh wait, they already did that.

Chances are Windows 7.0 might also get a touch-screen UI, something on the lines of the Apple iPhone's UI.
