i've read lots of tuts but none of them say how to rearrange the info, create buttons or change colors. any help?

CreateWindow creates buttons and SendDlgItemMessage manipulates it.

CreateWindowEx *

Or you can do Dialogs instead of doing CreateWindowEx and such which is typically a bit easier and faster. I wrote an example tutorial on doing this and creating an example trainer for Minesweeper which you can find here:
