Is it possible to get thye sourcwe code for either of these anywhere on the net. Or a web browser in general. My school has more or less completly stopped proxy sites and i'm looking to make some money by making a web browser and using an http tunnel of sorts.

For Firefox yes:

ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/

Click on the release you want, then source.
