The way I learned was simply by saying "I wanna do [____]", and then just insert random things into the little blank. Then I would ask my dad about how one would go about doing it (he's a professional developer); you can adapt this to yourself by simply Google'ing on how to do certain things.

First of all, I don't look at "pr0nz".

Second, I only asked him for help at first; now I just kinda tell him what I'm doing (like creating a keyboard hook), and he talks with me about it, and how low-level it is. Unfortunately, he doesn't do things like that, he just kinda understands how it works... sorta... Anyways, now I just Google when I have a problem.

There is C# information EVERYWHERE.

95% of the time, if you have a question and put it into google, you'll find your answer.

This site has all sorts of great articles http://www.codeproject.com/ including one with a program (in C#) that reads the location of mines for minsweeper that can easily be adapted to a trainer.

He's a software developer, yes, but he's a high-level guy. He does web development in C#, and had never heard of Dll Imports before I asked him a while back about trainers and what not. We Google'd a little, and found the article that Slovach was talking about (the minesweeper one).
