I think Intel is better... And a single 8800GT should be GREAT for most/any games you play... like crysis or whatever...

I.M.O. Intel is far superior, but for that price, I'd go for it.
Of course you'd need to get more RAM than that.[/list]

Hey skam8, I'll whip you up a nice setup for $750, not to sound mean but there's a few things I'd definitely change about your list...
Give me some time to find some sexy parts.

oh god get the 8800GT... jeez
Also, everything he listed was awesome. I'd double check on the RAM and Case (i've never used them/heard of them/heard good or bad things about them), but besides that it is marvelous!

the ram has 558 reviews and 5 eggs, definitely fine.
the case is a cooler master, should be great, if it's not he can change it, the case is usually the personal point of the build anyhow.

It's almost completely pointless to have quad cores right now.

| The 350 Watt Powersupply on the first post is not enough to run SLI, and NVidia video cards doesn't perform as well on amd boards vs intel boards.

The setup I provided him has a 500W not-coming-with-case PSU, and I changed it to an 8800gt instead of 2 8500gt's.
