This PC i am on right now(running Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2) had caught a virus earlier and was unplugged then taken to a professional to get rebooted.
He gave the PC back. I plugged everything in, it works and all but no sound.
So, I did a quick scan on driveragent.com and it came up with 76% good drivers and 24% bad.
I want to update the drivers...
These are the ones im missing/that are bad.
I already found some but these are the ones i couldn't find.
Now when i plug my speakers/headphones in i can hear a little bit of sound but it's very fuzzy noise.

is ur sound onboard or dedicated?
if onboard go to the mobo website.
dload the latest driver for sound there.
if dedicated go to ur sound card developer website.
dload the latest driver there.

Well for the nVidia and the Logitech drivers, just go to their official website for the driver updates (Logitech seems to have upgraded, try using the CD that came with your webcam to update).

Let's start with a motherboard model number in case a site has all your needed drivers in one place.
Go here, download that, run it. (No installation needed) Then post a picture of the 'Mainboard' tab here.

Heres a pic the PC i use is really shit so please dont mind.
I really need my sound back that is my first priority.
Here is the speaker set I use that worked before I took my PC away but now I don't know how to get it to work because it came installed to my PC.
I have the installation disk but i still don't know how to get it to work.

Please be sure to set a system recovery point prior to installing drivers just in case they do not work properly and fuck something up. Here is what I got from the screenshot and they should work. There are other drivers as well that I recommend you install. I'll create a link list sometime later for you as long as these ones work for your sound.

EDIT: After downloading it i extracted the contents and went into the Vinyl_700b folder and ran the setup.exe it came up with a chinese error.

Saviour, thanks for your help but...
I told another PC pro to come and he read this thread, used your sites(resources) and found my problem.
He restarted my computer and went to the setup and enabled the AC97 thing and started up my PC. He unplugged and plugged a few things at the back of my PC and installed my speakers! Now they're working fine.
Thanks also, I need the other drivers.

I'd think he'd use the SB card you have for better performance. Oh well. I'll search up the other drivers, video, BIOS updates, etc.
