Is there any way to manually turn off a laptop display? (without ripping put the wires)

You may be able to do it from the power options in the control panel..like, turn off screen after so many minutes. Don't know if laptops have it or not.

yeah we do have that option under power options (laptop users). also, potato if you want to manually turn off the screen you can always press that little leverish-button that gets pressed when your laptop is closed to turn off the screen.
