Today's MapleStory is not what it used to be a few years ago. Am talking from the perspective of a person who's seen enough ("Jeez, you're bragging again" - for challenged people, NO). I fail to understand why, ON A HYPER-POPULATED "market" of hackers, people still tend to use bots and other tools, to earn a quick 5$ per sold account. If this was a game in which you could hack non-stop and have the freedom of your actions, then no one would've taken that away from you. BUT in MapleStory.. where every map you land in it's impossible not to find at least 2 people in.. where you're watched even when you crap in a bush.. pfft.. no, thanks..

I am totally in agreement with those who, for personal reasons or for the fun of it, want to ruin this game for everyone. Come to think about it, judging from the amount of hacks being leeched, this game lost its touch. Maybe it's intriguing/ interesting for the legit players, but even they have to deal with US Smile

Here's a little story of today's MapleStory. We'll take Billy as an example. You are the ones to deduce the moral.

Billy is XX years old. He wants to make money and buy shit. He loves to play games. He plays them online. He plays and plays and finds a hacker in his game. Suddenly, Billy THINKS - "I can make money by faster-leveling and selling items/accounts". So he gets to know of CEF. He comes and spams, showing his "skills" (that he doesn't possess), trying to mingle among the experienced people, in hopes that MAYBE someone will teach him how to do it. Billy learns to "hack" (ticking scripts, opening programs, staying in touch with the latest fashion) and eventually gets in-game.

Billy finds that hacking is not so easy. It might be easy to leech and get to learn how to perform a hack, but in-game, it's a different story. He finds that legit people hate hackers. He gets reported, he gets banned. He makes new accounts. He starts each time all over again, from 0, leveling day and night, getting banned and looping in this rat-hole for ever. Why? Cuz Billy wants to make money the easy way. Turns out it's not the easy way after all. Billy gets bored and "hacking" (that's what he thought) becomes a nuisance. Thinking he's so PRO at it, Billy often replies to people showing the noobness of others (just like him in his noob days) with catchy phrases, like : "You noob, haha, I can do it and you can't? Haha" or "He's a noob". Getting bored of what Billy thought once to be a fun thing to do, he forgets how stupid and full of shit he was when he FIRST came to CEF. Now Billy is still playing MapleStory, wasting his life, eyes and bones..

Moral: Learning how to perform a certain thing doesn't make you pro at it or unique in any way. There's millions out there that learned it before you did and are PROer than you will ever be. And to those millions, what you just learned and brag with to others "noobier" than you, is considered dog-piss. Something anyone can do, anyone with a brain - that is..

The only people profiting off this system are the ones selling the integrated solutions, xentar, zenos before him, etc...

@appalsap: True, and there's the other 99% that THINK hacking is easy and they'll get rich in no time. Apparently, that belief sticks to their brains and even after they get accounts banned, they still retry it. Attempting to earn money from an over-populated game is like trying to stick your dick in a cow. You got room, but you still get nothing Smile
