Cheat Engine

Ok, thoug I'm new in this forum, I'm not new to cheating memory areas. I did it with mame games with integrated memory scanner and i did it with Cheat Engine in other games like Patrician 3, Superpower, Operation Cleaner 2, and some others. My trouble is this, can you explane me (or give me all the needed links if a topic for this is already present, because I wasn't able to find it) how i change more difficult values?

I mean this ones:


- the one who resets though they are freezed, for example in Patrician 3 I got to freeze money, but i want to freeze good number. I buy some good and scan, then i buy some others and i found 2 memory addresses which are the GOODS NUMBER ONES (I'm sure they are because the good number increases with the game one in the same way). I freezed them, hoping to achieve to sell them continuosly withouth decreasing (so infinite sell). But they DON'T freeze and keeps decreasing if I sell or increasing if I buy. They still keap behaving normal. Why?


- Find values like position on map, numbers that don't change or change after a long time (Like experience levels, who needs lot of work between a level and the next one), charachters or items values (like i have the memory address of this item and i can put it by activating the cheat on a new charachter or to unlock a charachter).

- Understand how to change values in some applications or games, and for this I mean: for example in Superpower i was able to find out the money addresses and to freeze them, i had something like 130 millions of dollars, but the value in the address was like 1337289983 or something, What's this? I have to multiply this by 8 too? The problem is that the amount of money doesn't even match with 130*8, both in result and in lenght of the number, what's this?


-Cheat flash games.
NB: I know version 9 encrypt memory areas, and I read the CheatingHackerk Tutorial, where he explains the method by opening the flash game with SFW decompiler (who I already had and used). I want to know if it's possible to do it with the Cheat Engine. What i founded using exact result search is nothing, and with unknown value lot of values who doesn't fit anything with the value i want to change.


All researches have been made in 4 bytes.
