anyone know how to do it? its also call downgrade from vista to xp

Put in your XP disk, format the HD, install XP?

NOT A GOOD IDEA. I tried this before. If you have SATA Hard Drives, you NEED to get the drivers for it BEFORE you install XP. Otherwise, it formats your HD, but doesn't install XP. It just formats it and leaves you with a fucked up hard drive. I suggest either moving to Linux or just make the best of Vista.

get a copy of all the drivers you will need for (make sure there xp drivers) burn them to disk
(your internet related id say is the most important if you wish to download later)

if its a sata hard drive in the bios utility set Set Native SATA to disabled
save and exit.

turn comp off and than reboot with xp cd

Vista isn't THAT bad. SP1 is coming out soon as well, I would just wait for that.

yeah just do what negima said and stay with vista, it's not bad once you get used to it.

Stick with Vista, once SP1 comes out, your problems will be long gone, or just not as apparent.
