Cheat Engine

Greetings, I'm new to the Cheat Engine program and to these forums. i just have a few questions about some Hacks i have been trying to perform. I play a game called Voyage Century Online. its a free MMORPG. I've been trying to change the amount of money i have. i have found the address and have changed the value to what i want it to be and when i scroll over the money icon it shows the change but the amount of money has not actually changed. I've also tried WPE. I sniffed the packet that held the amount of money i deposited into the bank and changed the value and resent it . also did the same thing with the packet that said i withdrew money. but all it really does is pause my game until i stop the sending, then it un pauses and everything is the same as it was before. I've heard that changing the value of money with CE is only to look "cool" for videos and such but i find that hard to believe. there has to be some way to trick the server into actually giving me the amount i set. I've searched most threads on this forum and have not found anything with a solution to this problem so if there is a thread that i missed simply provide a link and i will go through it and try any thing it recommends.

It is good you refuse to believe it is visual only, it is possible to find this on some games. But truth is most MMO's are visual only unless maybe, of course your a super reverse engineering machine, you could reverse the whole client to maybe trick the server. Just a guess tho... Still dont think it would matter.
