How do I cheat?

Hello, this is IHasASpoon, a new CE user...

I've decided to try out CE but I have a problem. Whenever I try to install it, An error pops up. It says:

"Access violation at address 004096DA. Write of address 00401000."

Anybody know how I can fix it?
