I have found a VB6 software that will allow you to make your own Zelda-like games. This is open source, so you can do anything you want to it.
You can download it here.
I have been working on an engine using this for quite a while, it's called Lightning Source, but I probably won't release it for a very long time; since, for some reason, it won't run on my computer.

which one do u download
You will find everything you need (apart from Visual Basic 6) to edit and use the Mirage Source code.

I don't know of anything like this for Delphi.

Kind of confusing about their history. They say PlayerWorlds is a rip from this, yet, PlayerWorlds was out before this I think... I recall seeing PlayerWorlds years ago and being very popular. I personally have never heard of this engine before, let alone the counter-part of it that was mentioned on their page.
