Cheat Engine

I cant remember when this started, but i go and open up a process and when i try to scan a value it says "Error while Scanning:No readable memory found in the region you specified!" It did this with any process game application whatever i opened up. So i took a look at Memory view and saw when i open anything up there is no memory! its all still ?? like before you open up a process. NO matter what i open i cant get it to work. Also its not just Cheat Engine 5.3, but any cheat engine related product (all UCE's) that this happens with. I simply cant figure it out, i redownloaded cheat engine 5.3 again but that didn't do anything. Help?

er no ill try that now

EDIT: Nope still got all ?? for the values in memory view. Couldnt search anything when hooked on.

Did you install vista and have the option "kernelmode query memory regions" enabled in settings->extra?
If so,
if you run vista, enable settings->extra
if not, did you get a error about a driver failing to load when starting ce ?

or is the hyperscan checkbox enabled and is your ce missing cehook.dll? (another cause)

i dont have vista and ya i do get some kind of error not when i load CE 5.3 but when i load UCEs like for instance

Sora Engine:

"No MeuAttachQiProcess call found."

and moon light Engine 1105:

"No KiAttachProcess call found."

"Failed starting the process watcher."
