Ive been following the huge tutorial on this forum and stuck at the point in compiling the .exe

I keep getting some errors which i cant seem to fix no matter what i try to fix and wondering if someone has any ideas

First of all, only edit the hex numbers (80000000, 7FFFFFFF, 00400000) that are in quotes.

SOme of the ones you edited are not in quotes so you shouldn't change them. I find that a lot of times, when I fix one error, I fix many others

im trying to compile my cheatengine.exe now but i got some errors i gotta fix....the problem is that some of the strings such as newscanbutton, scantype, and vartype which i have named alpha57, alpha60, and alpha 61 dont seem to be working on the lines 86, 89 etc. the picturs shows exactly where. Anyone know how to fix this or if i was supposed to change it at all?

For the numbers, someone else had changed them to something similiar to yours. I do not know why but it will give errors.

If I am not wrong, you change 80000000 using the minus method.

Do not do that, use plus.

And changing all will not give you errors. Unless you have changed like $80000000 to 80000000, by accident. DO not edit the $.

Just change those values back and rechange it again. If not just redo it again from scratch.

As for the newscanbutton, scantype, and vartype, I am not really sure, but definately you have changed something you are not supposed to.

Read my tut again, if you are following my tut, I've redo the steps.

i am having problems in the first compile when i compile the first time at the bottom it says files compiled 6 and file errors 16
