whenever i try to burn a cd from itunes music the sound quality is shit.
(i burn it, take it out of my computer and put it into my cd player.)
the cd player either does not reconize that i burned music on that cd. or it has a faint "scratching" noise in the background. Any way i could fix this?
(my computer is a laptop)

Use Nero

1- Get good, empty CD/R.
2- Set quality to HIGHEST in iTunes.
3- Make sure the songs you're burning aren't compressed into some shitty format. Songs taken off CDs have the best quality, but I assume you downloaded them; in that case, make sure it's MP3.
4- Check the CD player, you never know.

If you still have problems, try changing CD player and using a different burner, such as Nero 7 Essentials. I use that Nero suite and it litterally kicks ass!
