Cheat Engine

I can't play Warcraft 3 because it says i need DirectX 8.1 or newer. I used very long time to figure out how to do, i finally got into dxdiag and saw my version was 4.09.0000.0904 (DirectX 9). I looked into the DirectX thing in warcraft 3 folder and searched some diffrent stuff.

I looked into some stuff and i found out some of my files in kernel32.dll was either missing or damaged (maybe because of cheat engine? i dont know) so does anyone know if i can replace my old kernel32.dll with a new one, and how? I belive i wouldn't be able to delete the old one because the system probably can't run a second without it.

Where can i get a new kernel32.dll?
How can i install it without killing my computer?

For direct x you have to go to microsoftwebsite and download the updater.

for kernel32.dll just do a repair to all corrupt/missing dlls with your windows disc.

how do i repair files with my windows disc? little tut please, i tried restarting and doing as it says but i just got into something which looks like cmd.

Lol, I think you were close to formatting your drive... >.>

In order to only repair your OS, put your Windows CD in and then run it without rebooting or anything. A screen should pop up, with some stuff like "XP Tips", "Repair", etc. Choose repair and just wait.

I tried this last time, did nothing to my files (music, applications, pictures, etc).

You can download DirectX on the Microsoft Download Website.

Download the latest 9.0 version.
