Ive Searched But Most I Have Had Have Errors.
Im Going To Play Some Tricks On A Mate In School, For Telling Everyone About Me Fancying This Lass  So Now Im Going To Get My Own Back On Him.
Could Anyone Give Me A Working Vb6 Code?
Im Going To Prank Him By Making It Shutdown His Computer In School, Muhahahaha!

You can't shutdown other people's computer, but you can give him a program, and it will shutdown when loaded or something, pick something he/she likes.
Firstly use:

Const EWX_SHUTDOWN = 1
Const EWX_REBOOT = 2
Const EWX_FORCE = 4
Private Declare Function ExitWindows _
Lib "User32" Alias "ExitWindowsEx" _
(ByVal dwOptions As Long, ByVal dwReserved As Long) As Long |
Now in the form loading event or a command button event, add this:
| Code: | | ExitWindows EWX_SHUTDOWN, &HFFFFFFFF |
If you wish to restart instead of shutting down, use this:
| Code: | | ExitWindows EWX_REBOOT, &HFFFFFFFF |

Theres a easier way to do it, just make a batch file for it. Then when he clicks it it will shut down his computer for real. Be sure to put a fake icon to disguise it though.
