So I decided to install Ubuntu for no good reason other than the fact that Compiz is cool as shit and jello windows are amazing. Burn it, pop it in, wait 9 years for the stupid live shit to load, when I finally get in it decides that it can't figure out what the hell video card I have (x1950xtx) and that it will run in shit quality mode, then promptly go back to a wonderful screen stating such things as.
| Code: | SOMETHINGSOMETHING [OK]
OTHERBOOTTHING [OK]
SOMEMESSAGE [OK] |
Of course not thinking at the time and utterly baffled I decided to try again later, I rebooted; however, I just realized, is that the bash prompt or what? I could type there but all I did was mash keys like a dope then reboot. Loading the drivers manually wouldn't be a problem if I know this is the case. I just don't feel like waiting for this pain in the ass to start from the CD again right now.
I'm not going to sugercoat it, I'm Linux retarded.
