No, you're not, CoD4 doesn't have a DX10 path, and you wouldn't anyway unless you were on Vista.

r_rendererPreference

will tell you what you're using. It probably defaulted to the SM3 path for you.

r_zfeather 0 (this absolutely rapes performance, make sure it's off, it's soft particles.)
sm_enable 0 (dynamic shadows, obviously a decent performance hit)
r_multigpu 1 (mysteriously gives some people fps)

i wish i remembered the depth of field effect command so just do it from options

maybe it's the jpeg artifacts but it looks like FSAA is on.

that's about as good as it will get, not to mention that level ran like shit for the most part in some places for me too, yet in multiplayer I get like 100+ fps almost all the time, usually 60+ cranked.
