I got a BSOD after playing BF2142. I do not really know how I got it. Can anyone help (if possible)?

What was the error? |
Something about my Sound Card, which seems kind of BS because I updated it after the first BSOD. Then I got it again.

| If it's an Audigy (or maybe even any newer Creative card), and you have a Dell, there's a BIOS update lurking around.

I used to get BSODs all the time, then I updated my drivers. =]

Ether you are using windows vista, your computer is getting hot, or it might just be your hard drive. Best way to see is just to take it into a tech support shop and ask them to give you a free diagnostic.

Go here and download CPU-Z. It gives information on your computer without having to install it.
Once downloaded, extract and run the "cpuz.exe" and let it gather information, then click on mainboard and look for BIOS, search your BIOS manufacturer then for updates.
