I have a ASM code given by someone and i want to go to this address in CE.

00903686 - d8 8e a8 01 00 00 - fmul dword ptr [esi+000001a8]

Do i have to:

1. Add Address Manually
2. Click Pointer box
3. "00903686" in the address of pointer textbox and "000001a8" in the offset.
4. Click Ok..

I think the way is correct but the values might be incorrect here. My question is how can i add this address to CE so i can debug and see what writes to it.

thanks in advance

00903686 is the address to that instruction. D8 8E A8 01 00 00 is the bytes that make it up.

if it's a pointer you're looking for, double click it or show more info. CE will tell you what it figures is what you have to search to find it. set the type to 4 bytes, check hex and type in that value it gave you. you should get some results, the lowest one is usually what you want. add 000001a8 to that value and there you go.

When i search 00903686 (hex mode) in memory, CE cant find anything but i can see it in memory viewer when i search the asm code.

And when i add this address manually, the value i get is ?? which i assume something not correct. So my question is how to add this address in CE to check what writes to it.

Any idea?
