So far, i only know how to code in console based applications. Can someone point me to or feed me on how to code gui based c++ applicatins. Like for example, how do i add code for a button, how do i make a form pop up, starting ect.

Do you mean win32 C++ programming? There are many good tutorials out there. Perhaps try http://www.winprog.org/ ?
