Is it bad for my laptop if i shut it down my holding the off button? Cause i have to hold it for like 5 secs and when my computer shuts down it tmakes this noise like Peeeeew.
So is it bad turning it off this way rather than going to start shut down or by making it go into standby?

| It isn't bad for the first or 57th times, but overtime it will. When you shut it downl like that the computer dosen't get time to save important data.

well ive been told it is bad but i dont get problems from it the sound you hear happens on all computers its just the systems componets stoping like the fans and such..

lol, that explaines it all, laptops are made of shit (no offence) they are the most worthless gaming performence i have ever seen, they are only ment for business, btw try this:
click it once
if it takes loads of time to shutdown then just shut it down the way you do, next time try:
start
run
msconfig
disable all unnecessary services (i'm not goniug to list them, just google)

No offense, but it looks that you don't know much about hardware, and for that reason I will not trust you. It won't "get slow and jammed" for no reason.

my opinion: Hard-Shutoffs were a problem for older Os's, not so much new ones, but you lose all of the data in the HD buffer

Fair enough. I was just pointing out that I think I know more when it comes to video cards, CPUs, motherboards and RAM. Now I'm sure that you know more then me when it comes to other stuff, like Delphi :P . Anyway.
