Heya!

Well ive seen some people have some cool proccesline, the thing where Start button is..
Any1 know how to change it?
Ive seen they have some cool, when i got the normal XP boring..

It's called a taskbar.

Anyways, download WindowBlinds or StyleXP, then look on crystalxp.net or deviantart.com for a skin.

Torrent a Star Dock Object Desktop and go to wincustomize.com and download something.

ok heres a lil tut ill type up for ya:

One: Download ResourceHacker (url:http://www.angusj.com/resourcehacker/).

Two: Make a copy of your explorer.exe file in c:\windows and name it anything you would like (make sure its in .exe form)

Three: Open Rs and open file explorer in C:\Widows\(whatever the backup explore name is).

Four: Expand "String Table", then expand "37", then select "1033".

Five: Then change 578 to whatever you want the start menu to say.

Six: Compile the Script, by clicking the "Compile Script" button.

Seven: Then click "Save file as:" under file menu.

Eight: Select the file that you copied (make sure not you original explorer.exe)

Nine: Then open RegEdit by clicking run under start menu: and typing "RegEdit"

Ten: Then expand:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, then SOFTWARE, then Microsoft, then Windows NT,then CurrentVersion, then Winlogon

Eleven: THen double click on Shell, and change the "value data:" to whatever the new explorer name is, make sure you add the .exe to the end.

Twelve: Now just log off and log back in or reboot, which ever you prefer.

*dock doesn't help you if you frequently use tray icons

object desktop is the best with that, but that doesn't say much, it compounds the first four tray icons into a single object on the dock, it's not even usable
