Hi, I just want to point out that SPELLING DOES NOT EQUAL TO GRAMMAR. To make a relevant analogy, it's as bad as equating a bypass with a UCE. I've already had a discussion with mychilli in another post on a similar matter. Just because you can copy a slab of text into some online spelling site does not really make you any better at GRAMMAR than any one else. For example, I've pointed out that spellcheck.net only conforms to American-English and makes the mistake of "correcting" British-English. Furthermore, there are general inconsistencies between that spell checker and an acknowledged online dictionary.
To my knowledge there is no easy or perfect "grammar checking site" that checks the actual syntax of a passage of text. The English language itself is full of grammatical anomalies and complexities, so unless you have a very good understand of grammar itself, I don't see how the title of "grammar police" can really apply. Here is a good site with lots of info on grammar etc.
If all you do is check people's spelling, then I suggest a more true title to be "Spelling Police".
