The second part is explaining how to compile under a UNIX machine using the gcc compiler. I'd assume you are probably not using UNIX if you don't understand that tutorial.
If thats the case, what OS are you on and what IDE/Compiler are you using?

Ok, along with that, what compiler do you have installed? Or IDE since most IDE's come with some type of compiler. Meaning, are you using Visual Studio 6, 2005, 2005 express, 2008, Dev C++, etc.
