I was just curious if attaching Firefox to Cheat Engine and turning on Hack speed and making your internet faster was illegal

I tried it it and set the speed to .0001 and i did a speed test of my internet and it showed me where Im at on a scale of all the possible speeds like cable T2 T3, and it had me at unlimited. I was just scared it would cost me a shit load or something so i am not using it until i find more out about it.

Anyone know anything about it?

no, cheat engine doesn't make internet faster.
It may affect the timer used to calculate the current speed, or make images show faster, but it won't change the rate of data you receive
