Hey i found that on polish wiki and translated(cuz its not same as in english wiki), and i know i can't call myself hacker:

"...The highest skilled hackers are these hackers(or crackers), who are making new attack methods. However there are people, that do not know much abuot security, and they use tools made by someone else. In hackers/crackers environment they are called Scrpit Kiddies"

So, hackers make their own programs, and r much more skilled(like Dark Byte)
Script kiddies just "leech" sum1's program and use it, calling himself "Hacker", like me...

I much prefer your definition over the polish one, as yours covers all hacking in general as opposed to simply security hacking.

The vote, however, is not so cut and dry. Dark Byte is a very good Delphi programmer, shown by his work on Cheat Engine. But, he also downloads things and uses them instead of making his own (Windows OS, his IM program, this forum software, etc). Does this make him a script kiddie? I should think not.
