Hey guys,
I've installed Windows Vista since today (Ultimate Edition), but I need some help. There were 54 updates available, all worked except for the windows vista updates themselves (The security updates and stuff did work). When I install the vista updates, it says it has to reboot the pc to make the changes work. But after I rebooted, it says there was an error installing the updates and they aren't installed. Same happens when I download & install them again.

Another problem is that when I create a new folder and try to rename it, it gives an error saying The File or Folder does not exist.
I looked it up on the net and it said I had to use this registry key that reset the folder options, but that didn't work. A CHDSK and a System scan didnt work either.

Please do not answer me with 'VISTA SUCKS', 'GET XP YOU NUB' 'CE DOESNT WORK ON VISTA', I dont give a shit, just asking for some help (a)

Try asking to the place you bought it.
And vista does not sucks, its better than xp

Ah maar dat is het nou juist, keb em gedownload
Was echter geen serial code nodig om te instaleren en ook geen crack, was al gelijk geactiveerd en updates doen het. Hij is ook nederlands trouwens.

en ja hij is wel geactiveerd met een goeie serial... denkik. Anders zouden die andere updates het toch ook niet doen?

Hmm since u JUST installed it.. why not try reformatting your pc? and installing it again.. ?? or repair vista if u have the cd...

VISTA OWNS ALL! It just needs the ram, tho on my vista i have 500mb ram and it shoots like a bullet.
