The police are starting to fine people for downloading music from limewire. Surprised

I know of Imesh, which is annother program just like limewire,
I dont know if you can get fined for useing this to download music

You can probably download music through torrents, but this is often slow

What sights/Programs do you use to download music? Shocked

If you can get fined for Limewire, you can get fined for any of these. They're ALL illegal, Limewire is just the best known out of all of them. Just like Napster was a couple years ago. Now Napster is a legitimate website. See?

I haven't heard any rumors of the police cracking down, so thanks for spreading information Wink

the good thig about Lime wire was that it was well known, so you got alot of sorces so downloads went fast Very Happy

I mostly download packed (zipped, .rar) music albums from some trustable forums. People just post albums there, and link em on RS, or Yourfilehost, MegaUpload or sum...

lol wtf... limewire cant be illegal because its file sharing. and that cant be illegal because people bought the cds and are sharing them.. i don't know were you heard that but im pretty sure its bull shit.. now torrents.. i think that could be illegal.. forums might be too because its not p2p..

also.. it would cost more money to try and catch then fine billions of limwire users.. and if it was illegal their website would be shut down and there would not be a PRO version.
